After class, you are standing near the college canteen.
A girl comes up to you. You have seen her before, but you do not know her well.
She says her name is Asha. She is 17 years old.
She looks worried and says softly:
“Can I talk to you for a minute? I don’t know who else to ask.”
She tells you:
-
Her last menstrual period was about 6 weeks ago
-
She is worried she might be pregnant
-
She has not done a pregnancy test
-
She has not told anyone
-
She is scared about what will happen if others find out
She then asks you:
“What should I do?”
At this point, you do not know:

Whether she is pregnant
-
Whether she is in any danger
-
Whether she has access to healthcare
-
Whether her family knows about this
